How to book

The best way to book a place on one of our events is by phone, this allows you to check space availability on the event of your choice. Bookings can also be made by email, or post.

If booking by email, please note that we do not have a secure connection so please do not put credit card details on the email — we will contact you by phone to arrange payment of your deposit. Once this is received, we can then confirm your booking.

All of our events have quite small numbers at each event and so we advise booking early to secure the date and venue of your choice.

Course timings — Seminars

Both our in house and regional program run to the same course timings.

The courses commence with registration with tea and coffee at 9.45. The courses normally finish between 5.00 and 5.45pm depending on the exact course and the amount of questions and interaction on the day.

Course timings — Photo Shoots

The Photo Shoot Experience Events generally meet up at 10.30 and finish at 4.30. These timings are subject to change according to the opening times of the location and the subject that we are photographing.

Big Cat Photo Shoot Experience is an afternoon and evening event to tie in with when the cats are awake and active.

Some winter events may need to start earlier to allow the event to be completed in daylight, or to resolve a venue’s early closing time in the winter months.

If the timings are critical to you please contact our office which will advise you of the times for each individual event.

Course timings — Practical Photo Experience

The Practical Photo Experience generally meet up at 10.30 and finish at 4.30. These timings are subject to change according to the opening times of the location and the subject that we are photographing.

The night photography events start later and finish later to allow us to photograph in lowlight conditions.

Some winter events may need to start earlier to allow the event to be completed in daylight, or to resolve a venue’s early closing time in the winter months.

If the timings are critical to you please contact our office which will advise you of the times for each individual event.

Whats included — Seminars

Refreshments and a light lunch are included as part of the course cost. All delegates receive a comprehensive A4 handout of 45–100 pages depending upon event including a copy of the course in PDF format including all images shown at the event, fully typed up notes about topics covered on the day and there is space provided to make your own notes.

Whats included — Photo Shoots

Admission fees where appropriate, refreshments and a light lunch are included as part of the course cost.

All delegates receive a comprehensive A5 colour handout of 14-18 pages depending upon event, including typed up notes about topics covered on the day.

Whats included — Practical Photo Experience

Admission fees where appropriate, refreshments and a light lunch are included as part of the course cost.

All delegates receive a comprehensive A5 colour handout of 30–35 pages depending upon event, including typed up notes about topics covered on the day.

Ongoing technical support

Ongoing technical support is provided as a part of the cost of all of our events. There is no time limit or restriction on the amount of times you can use it. Support is offered by phone 01487 772804 office hours only, or by e-mail to info@experience-seminars.co.uk.

We will try to get back to you same day but when the lecturers are out of the country at events there may be a few days delay in coming back to you, as on certain trips we are out of phone contact for several days.

The best way to book a place on one of our events is by phone, this allows you to check space availability on the event of your choice. Phone bookings also allow us to ensure that the course you are booking is at the right level for your requirements.

Bookings can also be made by e-mail or post.

If booking by e-mail, please note that we do not have a secure connection so please do not put debit/credit card details on the e-mail — we will contact you by post to collect the deposit that is payable at the time of booking.

It is the responsibility of delegates booking on our events to satisfy themselves that the course contents are appropriate for their experience and requirements. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us on 01487 772804 where staff will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Terms and conditions

A non refundable booking fee of £50 is payable at the time of booking for each course. This is required to be paid at the time of booking by credit or debit card. We cannot hold provisional spaces without this payment. The booking will not be confirmed until this booking fee is received. Payment can be made by credit or debit card. If you have to cancel a booking for any reason then this must be confirmed in writing by letter or e-mail.

The balance of payment is due a minimum of 28 days prior to the event. Payment can be made by credit or debit card. Any cancellation made less than 28 days before the event is non refundable.

If unforeseen circumstances require you to transfer a booking more than 28 days before an event then an administration fee of £10 is payable to cover the costs involved in the transfer. If a booking is transferred between 28 and 8 days before an event then an administration fee of £50 is payable to cover the administration and non attendance costs. If a booking is transferred or cancelled within 7 days before an event the full course costs are still payable unless we are able to resell the space in which case the £50 fee will apply.

All one to one and special group training events are payable at the time of the event confirmation unless credit facilities have been applied for and approved.

We reserve the right to cancel any event for any reason. If this happens all fees will be refunded but no other claims will be considered.
