We have found that a number of people would like to have a more basic practical course to help them get to grips with their camera, so we have a course course which combines a small amount of theory and a larger amount of practical photography on the day.
In order to make the subject matter as interesting as possible for the practical side we are holding these events at a selection of zoos, heritage or garden locations, so the events will be themed according to the type of photography the location lends itself to. The day will consist of a couple of hours introduction on the camera basics, followed by practical training for the rest of the day photographing the many and varied subjects and putting into practice the skills learnt in the morning session.
This course is not designed to replace our Understanding your digital EOS parts 1 and 2 events and is designed to precede those other events, but is for those who are perhaps new to SLR photography and would like some practical help in the use of the basics on their camera. The cost of the day will include all entrance fees, lunch and all refreshments and we supply full handouts of the day’s training course along with ongoing technical support after the event.
