Understanding your Digital EOS Part 1 is designed to give you a good familiarity with the camera’s modes, allowing you to fully utilise the focusing system and some of the key overrides. The course is aimed at photographers who have used SLR camera before and have a basic familiarity with their camera. The topics covered on this event are crucial to successful photography and this course is the cornerstone that the rest of the programme builds on. Although many photographers are familiar with many of the terms, we find few totally understand the topics in depth.
The course also looks at some of the photographic essentials that you need to be familiar with to fully utilise the features on these sophisticated models such as ISO utilisation, AWB understanding and preset overrides and relationships between aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings. We also look at how depth of field is best controlled and how to ensure that you do not get camera shake when hand holding.
