Understanding your digital EOS — Software and workflow
A course that everyone who uses a digital EOS will benefit from. We look at all the processes that you need to understand from the simple things like making your downloading faster and more efficient, sorting and filing images without the need for special programs so that you can easily find them again, through to the more complex issues of printing superb quality results and the colour management on your system.
Although many photographers believe they know all about these processes, they often go about things the long way around and take up a lot of time needlessly. We show you how to take a good image and make it look stunning both using the basic software supplied with the camera and using the basic Photoshop Elements program for more advanced enhancements. This is not an alternative to our Photoshop training courses as we will just be showing the principles of the program on the course and the methodology we use. We do not have time on this event to go through the actual tools in Photoshop and what they do.

Is this course right for you?
To get the maximum benefit from this course you need to be familiar and comfortable with the following things:
Basic functions on your camera
How to use the Windows operating system on your PC
Have reasonable mouse skills
Have copies of Canon's Zoom Browser and Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software on your PC
If you are not familiar with any of the above we would recommend attending as a minimum the Introduction to your digital EOS or Practical introduction to digital EOS course before attending this event. Alternatively some of these topics are covered (although not in as much detail) on our DVD courses Understanding photography with your digital EOS and Getting started with your EOS 1000D/450D/500D which are available on line or by calling our training centre.
