This event has been designed especially for our customers who have already attended some of our events, especially the Understanding your digital EOS Part 1 and 2 or similar events in the past but have recently upgraded from an older model to the EOS 7D which incorporates so much new technology and features.
It assumes that you understand all the general features on the camera and you have a good grasp of photography. This allows us to concentrate on the new features in more depth and allows the course to be presented at a slightly slower pace, to allow for more question and interaction. If you are entirely new to our programme then you will normally find that the Understanding your digital EOS Parts 1 and 2 more appropriate for your requirements.
We look at things that on this model, which is going to be totally new, to at least the majority of photographers. We have assumed that you will be upgrading from a camera that features the Digic II/III processor or earlier. This will be the following models: D30, D60, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 1000D, 450D. Models that are later than this, 5D Mark II/50D etc. really do have virtually the same features as these models and should not pose a problem when switching.
