This is a classroom based event which is suitable for those that have a basic grasp of how to use their camera in the green square, PIC and CA modes and can operate the menu systems.
It is also a good refresher course for those coming back to SLR photography or those that are transferring from film cameras.
Being completely classroom based means that we are able to cover more ground on this event than on its pratical counterpart "Taking control of your digital EOS."
Is this course right for you?
To get the maximum benefit from this course you need to be familiar and comfortable with the following things:
| Menus on your camera | How to navigate around them and how to set functions | |
| Camera button functions | What happens when you press them | |
| Viewfinder display | What the basic info is and where to see it in the viewfinder | |
| Lenses | The principles of interchangeable lenses | |
| The automatic PIC modes | What they are and what they do | |
| Flash | When and how to use it | |
| Lighting | Types and directions |
If you are not familiar with any of the above we would recommend attending the Getting started with your digital EOS or Introduction to your digital EOS - Pracical workshop before attending this event. Alternatively these topics are covered on our DVD courses Understanding photography with your digital EOS and Getting started with your EOS 1000D/450D/500D which are available on line or by calling our training centre.
