We deliberately schedule these events to follow on from one another so that it is possible for our customers who travel from a distance to be able to stay locally and do both parts on consecutive days.

Computer skills needed

It is necessary to have good computer literacy for this event. Photoshop is an imaging program, it does not file, or handle images. You will need to understand file formats, colour management, filing, down loading, storage and printing issues before attending this event. All these issues are fully addressed on our Understanding your digital EOS - Part 4 — Software and Workflow event.

Ability level 3

Advanced level (advanced usage, flash and photgraphic techniques)

These are designed to look at the techniques required for specialist areas of photography. They are designed to teach you about the techniques required, rather than how to use your camera. They will not cover the basics such as exposure mode usage and basic photographic skills such as correct aperture, ISO, shutter speed selection, depth of field and exposure compensation / AE lock, as these are fully covered on our Level 1 and 2 events.

Suitable for wheelchair user unaccompanied.

Experience required

No previous experience of Photoshop is required but experience of using computer programs within an office or home environment is essential. Good mouse skills are beneficial when practising the exercises in your own time after the event.
