Course timings of Seminars and Practical workshop events

Both our in house and regional programme run to the same course timings which commence at 10.00 am. The training rooms open from 9.30 am for tea and coffee. Please note that the training rooms will not be open before this time as they are being set up for the day’s course. We break for lunch for approximately 45 mins and have two 15 minute tea/coffee breaks. The courses normally finish between 4.30pm and 6.00 pm depending on the exact course and the amount of questions and interaction on the day. We do not finish at a specific time and the course may go on longer if there is a lot of interaction. The practical introduction events may vary from this schedule to fit in with light conditions and opening times of venues.

The timings on these events vary considerably due to both opening hours of the locations that we use and the time of year that the event is being run. If timings are critical to you please check with our customer advisors at the time of booking who will be able to advise for individual events.

Weather

Weather on PhotoShoot and Practical workshops

The events will run regardless of the weather conditions prevalent on the day. We have never cancelled any event due to weather conditions. All the events have been designed not to be solely reliant on having good weather. On these events we will be outside a fair amount of the time so please do read the information sheet sent to you prior to the event and take heed of the things we recommend that you bring. Sturdy footwear is necessary on many of the events unless it is taking place after a long hot period with no rain. If in doubt please feel free to phone one of our customer advisors who will be able to offer help and advice.

Seminars and Practical Workshops

What is included on Seminars and Practical workshops

Refreshments and a light lunch are included as part of the course cost (excluding dealer venues). All delegates receive a comprehensive A4 handout of 25-100 pages depending upon event, including a link to download a copy of the course in PDF format which include all images shown at the event, fully typed up notes about topics covered on the day and there is also space provided to make your own notes.

PhotoShoot Experiences

What is included on PhotoShoot Experiences

Refreshments and a light lunch are included as part of the course cost. All delegates receive an information handout prior to the event that gives you information relevant to the event that you are attending. This will discuss the key features on your camera that you will need to be familiar with for the event.

On the day, we provide you with a small prompt card to jog your memory about those key features you should be using. Please note that these are designed to give you unique shooting opportunities and to practice your photographic skills, not to teach you the basics of photography or how to use your camera, which are topics amply covered on our level 1 and 2 events.

Most of our events run to a maximum of 20 delegates unless otherwise stated in course details. Occasionally there may be smaller groups made necessary by smaller meeting rooms at some of our venues.
