About “Switching to Digital EOS”

Our Switching to Digital EOS programme provides introductory photography instruction in a small group. It is ideal for first-time dSLR owners, as well as those who are making the switch from a point-and-shoot to a more flexible tool. Understanding how to use a digital SLR even at the most fundamental levels will inspire confidence in your ability to use your tool. Now you'll be able take better pictures and also realise why they turn out the way they do.

Ability level 1

Foundation level (camera basics and correct approach to photography) 

This category is aimed at photographers who are making the transition from digital compact to digital SLR for the first time and have little or no knowledge of the basics of using an SLR camera. Also ideal for those who are self taught and need some of the gaps filling in.  They also are perfect for anyone struggling with some of the new technology.  The events are presented at a slightly slower pace allowing for more interaction.  If skipping this stage you need to able to comfortably use the menus and basic Full Auto and PIC modes on the camera which are not covered on the other levels.

This seminar provides a basic camera familiarity and leads onto the Understanding your digital EOS — part 1, event which will look at the topics covered on this event in more depth and at some of the more advanced overrides.
