Practical Introductory Seminar
A new introductory training event for those who just want some basic help with their digital EOS camera in a practical training environment.
Seminars
Our weekend seminar and in-house weekday seminar programs are designed as a fast track learning program for photographers of all ages and all abilities whether using digital or film.
Practical seminars
Our Practical seminar events introduced in 2004 has proved to be a great success with our customers, especially those who have previously attended one of our fast track weekend seminars and want to put into practice the skills and techniques learnt on the day.
Photo Shoot Experience
Photo Shoot Experiences are opportunities for photographers to get to locations often not normally accessible to the public or where we can provide a special environment for a day’s practical photography.
Holidays
We run a very varied program of destinations but in each case the photographic aspect is uppermost in our minds and we structure the trip around the best photographic opportunities for all the delegates.

How to book

The best way to book a place on one of our events is by phone, this allows you to check space availability on the event of your choice. Bookings can also be made by email, or post.

If booking by email, please note that we do not have a secure connection so please do not put credit card details on the email — we will contact you by phone to arrange payment of your deposit. Once this is received, we can then confirm your booking.

All of our events have quite small numbers at each event and so we advise booking early to secure the date and venue of your choice.

The experience level required to get the maximum benefit from each Practical Photo Experience and Photo Shoot event will vary. Please check the experience level needed for each individual event to ensure that the course is suitable for your requirements. If in any doubt please call us to discuss.

Experience level 1: Novices and newcomers to photography
The Practical Photo Experience and Photo Shoot events are not really designed for the newcomer to photography as we are assuming a reasonable level of understanding of your camera and there is not time on the day to cover the basics of photography.
Experience level 2: Intermediate
In order to get the maximum from these Practical Photo Experience and Photo Shoots we are assuming a good knowledge of shutter speeds, apertures, depth of field, modes, lenses and settings of basic overrides such as AE lock, AWB and exposure compensation.
Experience level 3: Advanced
We will be addressing specific advanced techniques on these events so we assume a comprehensive understanding of all the settings and controls on your camera, in addition to a good understanding of all the basics of photography.
