The Canon 1D series cameras are the flagships within the Canon EOS range and are designed to meet the needs of professional photographers throughout the world. They are built to withstand the most rugged use and can be customised in hundreds of different ways to cater for almost all forms of photography.
The latest cameras in the 1D series range are the Mark III models. Canon have designed these cameras in response to the needs of professional photographers throughout the world and have included many new and advanced features. The cameras have been re-engineered from the ground up and are a “must have” for the professional and advanced amateur.
This new two day course looks at all the camera’s features in detail and gets you up to speed quickly to take advantage of the tremendous photographic possibilities these camera bring.
Why this has to be a two day event
Although at a first glance the Mark III versions of the cameras might look just like the earlier models, they have been totally re-designed from the inside out. Significantly more personalisation has been added enabling the photographer to customise the camera exactly for their individual type and style of photography.
That’s just why we have decided to offer only a two day course, to explain in depth all the personalisation that is available takes a long time, the autofocus alone take over half a day to explain how to get the most out of it. To make the most of the other custom functions and get them working for you takes up the rest of that day and that’s without looking at the rest of what the camera has to offer.
We do assume that you do have a excellent level of photographic competency and so do not include an explanation of how the basic settings such as mode selection is set or how any of the mechanics of aperture, shutter speeds, ISO and lenses function within photography. We assume that you have these basic skills or will attend part 1 of the Understanding your digital EOS event before this seminar.
