Wedding photographers are the group of photographers who have had more problems than most when switching to digital.
As digital chips react differently to film it is important to understand how to handle these situations. Our course concentrates on the use of flash at weddings and how you can control exposures using the various options on the camera’s metering system.
After the classroom session we spend the largest part of the course at a local church with our very own bride and groom, suitably dressed for the occasion.
As the course is limited to 10 delegates and we have two presenters on hand we can cover all the shots you are likely to take inside and out without the pressure of an actual wedding.
Huntingdon - This event takes place at our training centre and we use the local church at Abbots Ripton for the location part of the day.
Gatwick (Airport) - The event takes place at a small hotel called Ghyll Manor and the location part of the day is split between its picturesque grounds and the small parish church opposite the hotel.
Cheltenham - We use Hatherly Manor hotel which has picturesque grounds and the small parish church that is located a short distance away.
Manchester (Airport) - We use the Marriott hotel and its courtyards for the outside photography and the imposing church of Holy Angels located in Hale less than 1 mile from the hotel for all the interior shooting.
Other locations may be added. Please check our website for additional venues throughout the year.
