Experience Seminars

Understanding your digital EOS - part 2 - Taking full control

How to book

The best way to book a place on one of our events is by phone, this allows you to check space availability on the event of your choice. Bookings can also be made by email, or post.

If booking by email, please note that we do not have a secure connection so please do not put credit card details on the email — we will contact you by phone to arrange payment of your deposit. Once this is received, we can then confirm your booking.

All of our events have quite small numbers at each event and so we advise booking early to secure the date and venue of your choice.

EOS 30D

Most digital EOS cameras have a wide range of overrides and customisable settings to cater for the needs of all types of photographers. Some of these are useful for most photographers and some are aimed specifically at a certain type of photography.

On the Understanding your digital EOS part 2 course we make sense of all these individual settings, explain what they actually do and which ones are specifically relevant for you. The automatic and creative modes (P, TV, AV and M) are not covered as we do this on the earlier part 1 event.

We also look in more detail at specific areas of the camera especially the focusing and metering systems and explain how you need to use these differently for different subjects. Once you understand all the controls, overrides and custom functions you will be able to maximise the camera’s performance to suit your photography needs.
