We look at all the processes that you need to understand from the simple things like making your downloading faster and more efficient, sorting and filing images without the need for special programs so that you can easily find them again, through to the more complex issues of printing superb quality results and the colour management on your system.
Although many photographers believe they know all about these processes, they often go about things a very long way around and take up a lot of time needlessly. We also show you how to take a good image and make it look stunning both using the basic software supplied with the camera and using the basic Photoshop Elements program for more advanced enhancements.

| Level 2 — Foundation level The foundation level courses are where we recommend that most photographers ideally start. This is especially the case if you are “self taught”, as many people know the terminology relating to digital photography but are not entirely sure how it relates to the images they are trying to produce or how exactly they should apply the settings to their camera. Our foundation courses are far from basic and they cover all the key features of photography and key settings on the camera that need to be mastered and understood fully, as all the subsequent courses are based on the assumption that you have these basics fully understood. | A classroom based event suitable for people of all mobility levels.
