York Cameras was established in 1971. The first shop was located in Waterloo and then they moved to their current location in 2000

York Cameras are professional dealers for Canon and carry extensive stocks of the full range of cameras and accessories. Offering competitive prices they still believe in offering a special service and are happy to to discuss the customers exact requirement and what equipment is going to serve their needs best.

Apart from Canon we specialise in a wide range of Nikon equipment as well as Sigma lenses, Lowepro and CCS gadget bags, Hoya Filters and a wide range of accessories for both film and digital users.

Our Second-hand department carries a wide range of equipment and we specialise in pre-owned Canon EOS and Canon FD cameras and lenses.

All of the staff are keen photographers and therefore understand both photography and the latest products in depth.
